The newly launched British Academy of Laser Gynaecology (BALG) has been created to promote research and widespread use of minimally invasive laser techniques.
They will provide educational and training support to practitioners providing new laser techniques developed by Fotona Lasers, which offer rapid treatment for a host of women’s health issues, such as stress urinary incontinence, vaginal laxity and vaginal atrophy. The BALG will also offer information on these treatments and provide a clinic search facility for prospective patients.
Beehive Solutions Ltd have introduced these techniques to the UK on behalf of Fotona Lasers, and director Kevin Rendell believes the Academy and associated web resources offer “a unique patient information centre and key learning facility for laser professionals.”
“For too long women have suffered in silence with these debilitating and often embarrassing conditions. Now there is a treatment option that gives long term, pain-free relief.”
