The UK market has become the first to launch Bocouture for crow’s feet lines.
According to the Merz Aesthetics “Face Value” Beauty Survey which canvassed opinion from nearly 3000 women in the UK, France, Italy, Spain and Russia, more women would consider treatment around their eyes than any other facial area. For most people, the eye area is where the first signs of ageing appear and now practitioners can broaden their armamentarium with Bocouture to serve their patients needs.
Stuart Rose, Managing Director of Merz in the UK says, “This new approval for Bocouture allows aesthetic practitioners the reassurance of treating their patients’ on-label with two licensed indications. It is also another tangible stepping-stone on the journey to realise the Merz vision of becoming the most admired, trusted and innovative aesthetics and neurotoxin company in the world.”
The MHRA granted the marketing authorisation for Bocouture in the temporary improvement in the appearance of moderate to severe crow’s feet lines seen at a maximum smile in adults below 65 years, when the severity of these lines has an important psychological impact for the patient.
